The tools on this site are free for people checking names. The API is free too, at a volume that suits a person — and paid when you are building a product on it, because the registry checks and the sales index cost real work to keep running.
$0 · no key
60 requests / hour per IP, everything the site itself uses. Just call the endpoints — no signup, no email.

$12 one-time · email key
1,000 requests / day with a key, plus the full sales index in one call (/api/sales.php?limit=500).
For a side project or a client site.
$29 one-time · email key
5,000 requests / day, a daily CSV of the sales index, and priority on new endpoints (for-sale watch, alerts).

Rate-limit headers on every response: X-RateLimit-Limit · X-RateLimit-Remaining · X-RateLimit-Reset. Over quota returns 429 with a Retry-After header. Nothing is charged automatically, ever.
